Job Description Summary:We are seeking a Senior Inventory Manager to lead all aspects of inventory control, accuracy, and compliance within our distribution center. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, and support high-volume multi-channel fulfillment operations.
The Senior Inventory Manager will leverage systems including ERP (SAP), WMS (Manhattan SCALE), and WES (Exacta) to manage inventory integrity across receiving, put-away, replenishment, cycle counting, and shipping. This position requires a strong balance of system expertise, analytical ability, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations.Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee all inventory management processes across inbound, storage, replenishment, and outbound flows across all business channels.
  • Ensure real-time inventory accuracy between ERP (SAP), WMS (Manhattan SCALE), and WES (Exacta).
  • Lead and execute cycle count programs, physical inventory counts, and variance investigations to maintain audit readiness.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs: inventory accuracy %, cycle count, adjustment value, and stock availability.
  • Drive alignment between inventory processes and automation technologies (RFID, LPN tracking, batch/lot control, AutoStore, etc.).
  • Partner with IT, operations, and supply chain teams to improve system integration and inventory visibility.
  • Manage inventory control Supervisors, associates, and cycle count team, providing coaching and professional development.
  • Oversee resolution of inventory discrepancies and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Lead continuous improvement to reduce inventory errors and improve warehouse throughput.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8-10+ years of progressive inventory control/warehouse experience, with at least 3- 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in ERP (SAP) and WMS (Manhattan SCALE).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control best practices, including cycle counts, slotting, replenishment, and variance management.
  • Experience with RFID, barcode/LPN systems, and system-driven inventory accuracy programs.
  • Background managing high-SKU, high-volume DC operations

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive change to meet demand.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, audit controls, and financial impact of inventory accuracy.
