Position Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, through daily cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, discrepancy investigation and continuous improvement. This role supports rotational molding manufacturing and warehouse operations to identify root causes, retrain team members and strengthen inventory processes. This role is split between daily cycle counts and investigation using the ERP system to analyze transactions and completing reconciliations.

What You'll Do
  • Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Process inventory transactions, adjustments, transfers, and corrections.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
  • Analyze recurring inventory issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Document findings and communicate results with leadership.
  • Help train employees on proper inventory procedures and transaction accuracy.
  • Support updates to standard work and inventory procedures.

  • Inventory discrepancies are investigated quickly and accurately.
  • Cycle counts are completed on schedule.
  • Root causes are identified, not just symptoms.
  • Inventory accuracy KPI improves over time.
  • Repeat inventory issues are reduced through process improvements.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of inventory control, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliations using ERP/WMS software
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Preferred: Manufacturing experience, BOM knowledge, intermediate Excel skills, continuous improvement experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in warehouse, manufacturing, and office environments.
  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Frequently use computers, scanners, and inventory management systems.

You may be eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus - $1,000 to be paid in 90 days, $2,000 in 90 days after that.
Hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
