Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Digital SAP Manager - Supply Chain to join our team. The Digital SAP Manager - Supply Chain will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions as part of our Digital Transformation journey. This role is responsible for aligning SAP capabilities with business goals across planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The manager will collaborate closely with Master Data, OTC, Finance, IT, and external partners to deliver scalable, integrated solutions aligned with enterprise digital strategy. What you will do:

SAP Supply Chain Management

  • Manage the design, configuration, and maintenance of all Supply Chain Processes in SAP (S4 HANA)
  • Own the end-to-end SAP enabled supply chain lifecycle ensuring seamless integration across demand planning, supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and customer fulfillment
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI, etc.)
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues using SAP tools and third-party solutions

Master Data Governance & Strategy

  • Define and execute SAP enabled supply chain governance frameworks with a strong focus on manufacturing operations, plant execution, and production control
  • Establish governance policies, controls, and decision rights for production planning, materials management, shop floor execution, quality management, inventory control, and manufacturing logistics
  • Own global manufacturing process standards and templates across SAP S/4HANA modules including PP, MM, QM, EWM, SD, FI/CO, and integrations with PLM and MES
  • Ensure tight alignment between manufacturing strategy, capacity planning, cost controls, and SAP digital transformation initiatives
  • Govern end to end manufacturing flows from product introduction and engineering change through production, staging, warehousing, and outbound fulfillment
  • Establish governance for production master data and execution structures (BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, Recipes) to ensure accurate planning, costing, and execution
  • Drive standardization and compliance across make to stock, make to order, engineer to order, and configure to order manufacturing models

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead a team of data analysts or specialists, providing guidance and performance management
  • Partner closely with Plant Leadership, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure SAP solutions support real world manufacturing constraints and shop floor needs
  • Serve as the escalation point for cross plant and cross functional manufacturing issues, ensuring alignment between Digital teams, plant operations, and business leadership

Project & Change Management

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging SAP to reduce downtime, improve throughput, optimize capacity utilization, and lower manufacturing costs
  • Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and testing

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor data quality KPIs
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and anomalies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP Supply Chain management, preferably in a global enterprise environment
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience
  • Proven track record of leading SAP projects and managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead crossfunctional digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE implementation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Skills:

  • 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP Supply Chain management, preferably in a global enterprise environment
  • SAP Certification
  • Knowledge of MM, SD, PP, EWM, TM, IBP, FI/CO
  • Experience working in multi plant, multi country SAP landscapes
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 - $171,700 (+ 15% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
