In This Role You Will:

The BHI Internship Program is an 11.5-week cohort experience designed to provide students with project-based, hands-on learning within a department aligned with their current field of study. Interns gain practical experience while contributing to meaningful work that supports organizational goals.

Throughout the program, interns participate in professional development opportunities, including CliftonStrengths workshops and engagement with members of BHIโ€™s executive leadership team. The program is structured to support a healthy schoolโ€“work balance, with flexible scheduling that accommodates academic commitments.

The Operations Intern will focus on:

Support operational data collection and reporting, including basic dashboards and summaries for campus and regional leaders.

Observe and document frontline processes across campus departments and assist with improvement and follow-up tracking.

Help standardize policies, procedures, and tools by organizing, formatting, and maintaining documentation.

Assist with project coordination for leadership initiatives by preparing trackers, meeting notes, and deliverables.

Participate in campus rounds and help summarize observations, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Support resident experience efforts by organizing feedback and helping track service recovery actions.

Provide general administrative, communication, and ad hoc support related to operational priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Who You Are:

  • Pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s degree in health administration or related degree in their Junior or Senior year
  • Willing and able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Passion for caring for seniors with industry interest.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Willing and able to travel to any BHI Community during their cohort time

Preferred: Students pursuing their Masters in Healthcare Administration
