Overview:
  • IBM API Connect Lead We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer with strong hands-on experience in IBM API Connect (APIC) and proven experience leading technical teams in the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integration and API solutions.
  • This role requires 10+ years of overall integration and API development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on APIC experience, along with required expertise in AWS and Kubernetes-based environments.
  • The ideal candidate will be a senior technical contributor who can lead by example, build scalable and secure API solutions, mentor team members, and drive end-to-end delivery across the API lifecycle.
  • The candidate should also be able to translate business requirements into technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation plans. Experience with IBM DataPower, API security standards, and enterprise integration patterns is essential, while working knowledge of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), and Red Hat OpenShift is considered a strong plus.

Job Description:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience with 12+ Minimum Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in integration, API development, and middleware technologies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (APIC).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes is required.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing REST and SOAP services.
  • Strong understanding of API security standards including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and TLS.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, and API design best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.
  • Experience deploying and managing API solutions in cloud and containerized environments.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership, team mentoring, and guiding delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities :
  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions.
  • Develop and manage APIs using IBM API Connect (APIC) and related middleware technologies
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation plans for API and integration development.
