Sr. Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer




Overview


If you are an experienced infrastructure or cloud engineer with a passion for designing, implementing and supporting cloud (Azure) and on-premise infrastructure solutions, Moore Computing may be the destination you have been looking for!


Moore Computing is seeking experienced infrastructure engineers to exceed the needs of our growing customer base and rapidly expanding portfolio of customers migrating to Microsoft Azure!


What You Will be Doing


  • Act as a lead technical resource to multiple customers guiding their technology adoption to accelerate their business.
  • Work with a multi-tiered team of experienced engineers to deliver world-class support and solutions.
  • Assess, design and implement on-premise and cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Work with end users and client network administrators to resolve technical issues and share technical experience to elevate others
  • Develop technology plans for customers based on customer interactions and needs.
  • Respond and resolve critical issues (emergencies) when they arise to quickly restore service levels and develop action plans to prevent similar service disruptions in the future.
  • Continually working to elevate your own technical and professional skills through self-study, R&D, and shared experiences from others.
  • Work will be performed in various locations: on-premise (in and around the St. Louis area), at the Moore Computing offices, and remotely.


Desired Skills and Abilities


  • 5 years of experience delivering technology solutions and support for multiple customers.
  • Extensive experience supporting the Microsoft stack of products (Windows Server, Windows 7/10, Office365, and more)
  • A proven track record of successfully diagnosing and resolving both complex and simple technology challenges
  • Must be able to pass a background check
