Job Description:Java Full Stack Software EngineerOverview / Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications within a CAD/CAE domain. The role requires strong experience in Java full-stack development, Angular, cloud technologies, database development, automation testing, and modern software engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will work on understanding requirements, designing solutions, developing software components, debugging issues, performing testing, and delivering high-quality solutions using established development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand use cases, challenges, and requirements while supporting user-focused software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Analyze application requirements and determine appropriate technology stacks, integration approaches, and deployment strategies.
  • Create high-level software architecture designs outlining application structure, components, and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects.
  • Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes.
  • Improve application performance and optimize solutions while implementing new technologies to increase development efficiency.
  • Apply software engineering practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Support security practices to protect user data through encryption and anonymization approaches.
  • Develop user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain backend applications including APIs and microservices using server-side technologies.
  • Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to enhance software solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing Java full-stack development to design scalable web applications.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience developing Angular-based user interfaces.
  • Experience with SQL databases including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development and deployment, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and GCS Bucket.
  • Experience developing and working with REST APIs.
  • Experience with Spring Boot.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing (manual and automated).
  • Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories.
  • Experience with test-driven development practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
