Is ERP the same as SAP?

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a broad software category that integrates core business processes, while SAP is a specific company that develops ERP software. SAP is one of the leading ERP vendors, and SAP ERP refers to their particular suite of enterprise management tools used by many organizations. As a Senior ERP Developer, understanding SAP's modules and customization options is essential, but ERP as a concept encompasses many other systems and providers.

What are the common challenges faced by Senior ERP Developers when integrating new modules into existing systems?
