What does a senior environmental engineer do?

A Senior Environmental Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to environmental problems such as pollution, waste management, and sustainability. They lead projects, oversee compliance with environmental regulations, and often manage teams of engineers and scientists. Their work may involve site assessments, environmental impact studies, and the development of systems to prevent or remediate environmental hazards. Senior Environmental Engineers also collaborate with government agencies, private companies, and the public to ensure environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
