In this role, you will do more than just manage circuits; you will architect the electrical backbone of highly secure environments and sustainable infrastructures that protect and empower our nation's interests. You will act as the ultimate technical authority, mentoring junior talent and steering complex projects from initial site survey through to final commissioning.

Joining our team means immersing yourself in a culture that consistently wins "Best Firm to Work For" accolades. We offer a sophisticated platform where your expertise in power systems, lighting, and security integration is met with a collaborative environment that values integrity over bureaucracy. Here, you aren't just filling a seat—you are joining a legacy of engineers who stay at the leading edge of building system technology, ensuring that every design is built to endure for future generations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary Electrical Discipline Lead, directing the efforts of design teams and ensuring the technical integrity of all project deliverables.

  • Systems Architecture: Design and specify complex electrical systems, including medium-voltage power distribution, UPS systems, emergency generators, grounding, and high-performance lighting.

  • Mission-Critical Engineering: Lead the design of fire alarm, security, and telecom/data systems for high-security environments, ensuring absolute reliability and compliance.

  • Project Stewardship: Navigate the entire project lifecycle independently, from conducting existing condition surveys and writing technical reports to performing rigorous SKM and AGI32 calculations.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform comprehensive quality control reviews and technical audits on all assigned projects to maintain the firm’s standard of excellence.

  • Collaborative Strategy: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and multidisciplinary partners, resolving complex engineering challenges during bidding and construction administration.

  • Continuous Innovation: Utilize the latest technology—including AutoCAD and Revit—to generate high-fidelity models and As-Built documentation that push the boundaries of energy efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship (Required for project access).

  • Education: BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

  • Licensure: Active Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

  • Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in the design and specification of complex building systems (Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, MV, and UPS).

  • Software Proficiency: Expert command of AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32, and SKM (Power Tools).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

  • Professional Credentials: LEED Accredited Professional (AP), RCDD, or CDT certification.

  • Sector Expertise: Proven track record with large-scale federal government, institutional, or secure-facility renovations.
