Job description

Position title: Budget Analyst (Senior)

Location: Camp Lejune, North Carolina

Clearance required: SECRET

Scope: Drive budget execution for a special operations command.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Execute budget formulation, execution, and analysis.
  • Track commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
  • Prepare spending plans and execution reports.
  • Reconcile financial data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support midyear/year-end closeout; advise on funds availability and reprogramming.
  • 8+ years in budget formulation/execution/analysis.
  • Proficiency with DAI and DoD financial systems; advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Active Secret clearance and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in finance/accounting/business; USMC/SOF comptroller background.
