Your future role on our team

BBA is currently seeking a Senior Civil 3D Designer tojoin our team in Vancouver, B.C., to support our projects in the naturalresources and energy sectors, including renewables, mining and metals, pulp andpaper, biofuels, and oil and gas markets across Canada and internationally.

The primary focus for project work will be to prepareconstruction drawings for infrastructure projects, including, but not limitedto, site civil works (including wet utility design, site grading and drainage),roadway design and storm water basins and channels.

  • Lead and prepare 3D models and 2D drawings for earthworks, roadworks, drainage works and underground services using Civil 3D
  • Convey results and findings by means of discussions, graphic-basedpresentationsand project documentation
  • Work with multidisciplinary 3D model coordinators on Navisworks
  • Adhere to computer-assisted design (CAD) standards and templates specific to the discipline and ensure quality control
  • Design or redesign complex layouts and drawings from general written or verbal specifications from the project team
  • Create and update design record databases for future reference
  • Support estimating and planning efforts by providing accurate quantity take-offs and design inputs
