Job description

The analyst provides administrative support to the Land team. They will examine and interpret provisions and obligations of various leases, rights of way, mineral records, and agreements involving company assets from Louisiana and Texas. Analyze any legal changes that may impact leases, mineral, and contractual terms and incorporate those changes into the work process. Keep the team and other stakeholders abreast of ownership changes. Manage all contractual obligations set forth for the term of each agreement. Ensure the data integrity of each record to provide accurate information upon request.
Responsibilities
  • Acreage reporting and related company interest reports
  • Manage company assets within Quorum Land
  • Manage imaged Land records
  • Provide support during data conversion into Quorum
  • Analyze and apply terms of company Contracts, Leases and ROWs
  • Process all Land Obligations and invoicing as needed
  • Process ownership changes and support with owner inquiries
  • Deductions Analysis
  • Ensure accuracy of GIS representation of company assets
  • Assist DO group with Land inquires
  • Collaborate with Land, Legal, Accounting, and other business units as needed.
  • Provide support with Unclaimed Properties process

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10 to 15 years of recent experience
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Oil and Gas Agreements for Texas and Louisiana assets
  • Basic Oil and Gas accounting knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Division Orders
  • Experience with Land rentals
  • Knowledge and understanding of interdepartmental activities and how they impact the responsibilities of Land Administration
  • Ability to maintain interdepartmental communication
  • Proficient with Quorum Land, Upstream and reporting applications
  • Experience with data conversion scripting and testing from acquisitions
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS
  • Ability to multi-task
