Job Summary:
Alter Domus is a world leading provider of integrated solutions for the alternative investment industry. They are seeking a Senior DBA Engineer to join their Global IT Operations team, responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance, and collaborating with stakeholders on database-related projects.
Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on expertise on systems related projects and participate on the daily tickets activity
• Deploy and troubleshoot various types of network elements, infrastructure services and platforms
• Build database systems of high availability
• Install, upgrade and manage database applications
• Develop processes for optimizing database security
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
• Performance tuning of database systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
• Manage database access
• Manage clear communication of progress/status with project stakeholders
• Anticipate and evaluate risks
