Job description

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior/Lead Data Modeler or Senior Data Architect
• Experience in understanding and translating business needs into enterprise conceptual and logical data models supporting long term initiatives
• Knowledgeable in data model patterns and abstraction techniques
• Expertise in data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models designed with analytical use-cases in mind
• Create, update, & optimize logical and physical data models using enterprise best practices and modeling standards to ensure high quality and reduced redundancy for new and existing projects
• Understands data management and DAMA DMBOK2
• Knowledgeable in data mapping from source to target data sources, data transformation and data cleansing
• Experience in developing relational, star, and data vault as a plus, data models
• Ability to clearly communicate complex data concepts in business scenarios, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt modeling methods from case studies or other proven approaches
• Able to develop data standards and best practices
• Data Governance and data quality experience is a plus
• Expert in the erwin data modeling tool
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Keen business savvy is a must
