Position: Senior Data Modeler

Location: McLean, VA

Duration: 12+ Months

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to design, develop, and optimize data models that support complex financial systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data structures, enabling high-quality analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and modern data modeling techniques, alongside domain knowledge in financial services.

What You ll Do

  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise-scale platforms
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to support analytics and reporting requirements
  • Implement and manage data structures within Snowflake environments
  • Apply JSON-based data modeling techniques for flexible and modern data architectures

What We re Looking For

  • Proven experience in data modeling within financial services environments
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with JSON data modeling and semi-structured data formats
  • Recent, hands-on MongoDB experience.
