Data Modeler
Mandatory : Mortgage associates experienced in Servicing domain specifically Active ,Default and Secondary Market + MISMO to be considered for the role
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable data models. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, hands-on experience with Snowflake, and experience working with JSON scripting and semi-structured data. The role will collaborate closely with Product Owners, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design efficient data models that support analytics and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
• Build and optimize data models for Snowflake data warehouse environments.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Work with semi-structured data (JSON) for ingestion, parsing, and transformation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, naming conventions, and documentation.
• Optimize data structures to improve performance, scalability, and data accessibility.
• Maintain data documentation, lineage, and metadata for enterprise datasets.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in data modeling and database design.
• Strong expertise in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
• Experience working with JSON scripting and semi-structured data.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Owners.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary Range- $120,000-$130,000 a year
