Overview:
Job Title: Ab Initio Developer (10+ Years of Experience)
About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio Developer with over 10 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and enterprise data integration.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing applications using the Ab Initio suite of tools.
  • This role requires deep technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with business and technology teams.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio development, including GDE, EME, and Co>Op.
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling principles.
  • Expertise in UNIX/Linux scripting, SQL (Oracle, Teradata, or similar), and data profiling.
  • Experience with Ab Initio Conduct>IT, Continuous Flows, and Metadata Hub.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
