About the Opportunity

Alliance Global Group is searching for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in support of AMCOM ALC SCMD requirements at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is contingent upon award. In this role, the Senior Data Analyst serves as the Lead for Data Analytics and Modeling in support of Supply Chain Analysis. The position leads logistics process analysis, oversees descriptive and predictive analytical products, develops data-driven insights, and mentors junior data analysts supporting Army logistics and supply chain operations.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Lead for Data Analytics and Modeling supporting Supply Chain Analysis.

  • Lead logistics process analysis to identify trends, process gaps, performance drivers, and opportunities for operational improvement.

  • Oversee the development of descriptive and predictive analytics products, including reports, dashboards, models, and briefings for supply chain operations.

  • Apply data mining, statistical modeling, machine learning, forecasting, and visualization techniques to support informed decision-making.

  • Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and comparable analytics platforms to communicate supply chain performance, risk, and improvement opportunities.

  • Mentor junior data analysts by providing technical guidance, reviewing analytical products, and supporting professional development.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, operations research, statistical analysis, or a related analytical field.

  • Minimum of three years of experience supporting supply chain, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, or related operational environments.

  • Demonstrated experience with data mining, statistical modeling, machine learning, forecasting, dashboard development, and advanced data visualization.

  • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence and analytics tools.

  • Active security clearance required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for operational managers and senior leaders.

  • Must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the technical knowledge necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
