Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Huntsville, AL.
Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the design, development, and optimization of advanced analytics applications. This role will focus on building scalable data pipelines, developing visual analytics capabilities, and transforming structured and semi-structured data into actionable intelligence. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with data querying, BI/dashboard development, statistical scripting, data warehousing, and pipeline optimization.
What You'll Do:
* Develop data analytics capabilities for desktop and web-based visual analytic applications
* Design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support bulk analysis of relational, structured, and semi-structured data
* Create advanced visualizations and dashboards that help users identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
* Design strategies for enterprise database systems, including operations, programming, performance, and security standards
* Build and maintain large relational databases and integrate new systems with existing warehouse environments
* Refine system performance, functionality, and data transformation processes to improve usability and scalability
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Experience with Cribl
* Experience designing, developing, or maintaining data pipelines and warehouse environments
* Knowledge of advanced data querying, including SQL
* Knowledge of BI and dashboard development tools such as Power BI or Tableau
* Knowledge of statistical scripting languages such as Python or R
* Knowledge of data pipelines, data transformation, and ETL/ELT processes
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with structured and semi-structured data streams
* Experience supporting high-performance computing, advanced graphics, or visualization environments
* Familiarity with open-source, commercial, or custom-developed analytics technologies
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to translate complex data into manageable, actionable intelligence for end users
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
