Position Summary
The ServiceNow Data Analyst will be responsible for leveraging a strong knowledge rooted in Service Now features related to data analytics (Platform Analytics, Indicators, Database Views, etc.) across all ServiceNow modules to help stakeholders across the organization make informed decisions
Responsibilities
  • Articulate, interpret, and translate business data to deliver insights that drive strategic business decisions and optimize employee performance
  • Collaboratively partner with business leaders to extract valuable insights from raw data, fostering effective decision-making and enhancing employee performance
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with team members to refine workflows and processes, actively contributing to the creation and maintenance of supporting documentation
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of current enterprise applications to help maintain data fidelity within the systems
  • Generate comprehensive reports and dynamic dashboards using Power BI and the ServiceNow platform, periodically and on-demand, integrating data from ServiceNow and other enterprise applications
  • Embrace a commitment to continuous learning, staying abreast of new processes, tools, and technologies to actively contribute to and support business growth
  • Work closely with the ServiceNow development teams to define, document, and validate requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field OR equivalent combination of applied skilled experience
  • Minimum five years of experience in business analysis, encompassing tasks such as research, definition, analysis, and documentation of processes and policies
  • Minimum of two years of experience with data analytics directly in the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience and working knowledge of various features in ServiceNow including Platform Analytics, Indicators, Database Views, and others
  • Exhibit critical thinking skills to assess stakeholder requests, asking probing questions to uncover the underlying needs and requirements
  • Experience with presenting data to stakeholders to include translating technical findings into actionable business narratives
  • Have a solid understanding of relational databases and basic programming skills
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, facilitating a shared understanding of problems, potential solutions, and technical challenges to guide the team towards optimal solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally

  • Demonstrated proficiency within all applications of Office 365 (SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft PL300 Certification

Work Conditions
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position will often move about inside the office to escort visitors, deliver packages to addressee, etc. Occasionally operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients.
