Overview
The Data Analyst partners across Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Operations to build, automate, and maintain the sales, cost, and shipping. This role owns how our products are costed and shipped across the US, EU, Canada, and Australia. You'll develop the reporting leadership relies on, analyze carrier rates and surcharges, and respond to ad-hoc data requests that shape day-to-day business decisions. It carries a wide range of high-impact projects and significant room for ownership. Successful candidates are self-directed, organized, and eager to take problems from question through to solution.

Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and automate sales, cost, and ecommerce reporting across multiple regions and currencies
  • Develop and maintain SQL/BigQuery queries to deliver clean, reliable data to business partners
  • Analyze shipping and freight costs, including carrier rates, surcharges, dim-weight, and peak-season increases. Quantify the impact of rate changes and contract proposals
  • Maintain landed-cost, COGS, and manufacturing P&L models, including cost tracking and duty/tax reconciliation, and audit them for accuracy and variances
  • Automate recurring reporting through scheduled jobs and scripting. Reduce manual work and future-proof existing processes
  • Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests from stakeholders and leadership to support pricing, sourcing, logistics
  • Identify issues and opportunities, then recommend and implement process and business improvements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or similar)
  • 0-3 years of analytics experience; new grads with strong relevant coursework, internships, or projects are encouraged to apply
  • Working knowledge of SQL (writing queries, joins, aggregations); exposure to BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills, including building and maintaining complex models
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with limited direction. A genuine go-getter who takes ownership
  • Strong organization and attention to detail across many concurrent projects
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or JavaScript preferred
  • Interest in or exposure to cost accounting, shipping/logistics, or manufacturing operations is a plus
