The Data Analyst supports client delivery and internal business operations by developing scalable, accurate, and actionable reporting solutions that help clients assess and manage supply chain risk. This role partners closely with stakeholders across Professional Services, Product, and Engineering to design dashboards, reporting models, and data visualizations. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL and business intelligence expertise combined with a commitment to reporting quality, query performance optimization, and scalable data modeling practices. This is a compelling opportunity for a data professional looking to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment with direct exposure to both commercial and government clients.
Responsibilities Include
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable clients and internal stakeholders to make informed supply chain risk management decisions.
  • Design, build, and maintain reporting data models and semantic layers to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain performant SQL queries across relational and NoSQL data sources, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Translate stakeholder reporting requirements into intuitive and actionable dashboards and reporting outputs.
  • Create and maintain reporting solutions within Looker and support future business intelligence platform transitions as needed.
  • Aggregate, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency using scripting languages such as Python or Node.js.
  • Deliver Excel-based reporting outputs and automate refresh processes using ODBC connections where appropriate.
  • Identify, investigate, and assist in resolving data integrity and reporting issues proactively.
  • Maintain high standards for reporting accuracy, dashboard usability, and query efficiency across analytics deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve reporting quality, data accessibility, and analytics capabilities.
