Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Business Data Analyst to support multiple strategic initiatives across the organization. This is a newly created role designed for someone who can operate independently, bridge the gap between business and technology teams, and drive data-focused projects to completion. This individual will work cross-functionally with approximately 15 different teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data while partnering closely with developers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear development specifications
* Serve as the liaison between business users and development teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout project lifecycles
* Independently analyze data and perform backend investigations using SQL queries
* Work across multiple teams to identify, source, and validate data requirements
* Develop and maintain simple Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
* Conduct data analysis and troubleshooting to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
* Support multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
* Provide insights and recommendations based on data findings and business needs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Possess a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to gather and translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions
* Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Techno-Functional Analyst
* Strong ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams
* Hands-on experience writing and interpreting SQL queries
* Experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report development
* Experience performing data analysis and working with complex datasets
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction
* Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Healthcare industry experience
* Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and use cases
* Experience supporting enterprise-level data initiatives and cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
