Job description

Role: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Cranston, RI (Hybrid work schedule - 2 remote, 3 onsite)

Duration: 2 Years Contract with possibility of extensions

Hours/week: 35

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, and interpret financial, operational, utilization, and program performance data to support decision-making and improve service delivery.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor program performance, outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform independent data analysis to support eligibility tracking, fiscal assessments, service planning, budgeting, and legislative reporting.
  • Utilize multiple data sources and enterprise systems to identify trends, measure outcomes, and generate actionable insights for business and program stakeholders.
  • Produce standardized and ad hoc reports within established timelines to support strategic planning, policy development, and executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program, policy, finance, compliance, and analytics personnel, to define reporting requirements and improve data quality.
  • Develop standardized financial and operational reports to support program oversight, performance measurement, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on reporting tools, performance metrics, dashboards, and data interpretation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements based on data-driven analysis and business trends.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Support research, data evaluation, and compliance initiatives by delivering meaningful analytical solutions and performance insights.
  • Contribute to initiatives focused on improving service accessibility, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, and organizational performance through data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated successful experience drawing insights from complex and imperfect data sets and improving data quality/cleaning.
  • Demonstrated successful experience performing analytic tasks as part of a multidisciplinary team involving programmatic, clinical, or administrative staff.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and key stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, and concise analysis, reporting, and decision support while managing multiple priorities and meeting established timelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, VBA, SQL, Python, R, STATA, DAX or other analytical and automation tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools in PowerBI, Power Query and Excel.
