Ardent is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager to join our team.  

This is an on-site position in Lanham, MD.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead day-to-day operations and strategic execution supporting the IRS Cybersecurity Fraud Analytics and Monitoring (CFAM) program. This role will oversee multidisciplinary fraud analytics and cybersecurity operations teams responsible for predictive analytics, forensic analysis, fraud detection, incident coordination, and stakeholder engagement across IRS online application ecosystems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead day-to-day operational oversight and strategic direction of the CFAM support program.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams supporting fraud analytics, predictive analytics, forensic analysis, and cybersecurity monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate response activities to ensure alignment with IRS policies, operational requirements, and program objectives.
  • Oversee staffing, onboarding, and resource management activities for personnel supporting the program.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement activities and serve as a primary point of contact for program coordination.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, governance documentation, and risk management artifacts.
  • Coordinate with IRS Cyber Operations personnel and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with Fraud Analytics mission objectives.
  • Oversee delivery of monthly and quarterly reports, executive briefings, white papers, and ad hoc leadership deliverables.
  • Support implementation of fraud analytics strategies, machine learning initiatives, and data-driven fraud detection methodologies.
  • Ensure timely coordination of fraud incidents, mitigation efforts, and operational response activities.
  • Support collaboration across IRS business units, cybersecurity organizations, and external stakeholders.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting cybersecurity, fraud analytics, data analytics, or large-scale enterprise operations.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within large, complex organizations.
  • Experience supporting fraud analytics, cybersecurity monitoring, predictive analytics, or incident response operations.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating cross-functional operational activities.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, fraud detection methodologies, and analytics-driven decision-making.
  • Experience supporting program governance, reporting, and operational planning activities.
  • Ability to communicate technical and operational information effectively to leadership and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting IRS, Treasury, Federal Civilian, Intelligence Community, or large regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting fraud analytics ecosystems, SIEM operations, or machine learning-driven analytics programs.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics, forensic analysis, ETL processes, and cybersecurity monitoring tools.
  • Experience developing executive-level briefings, reports, and operational dashboards.
  • Knowledge of IRS Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) or similar federal governance processes.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based analytics or big data environments.
