About our Team:

As a Cyber Security Audit Liaison, you will serve as the primary interface between Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Internal Audit, External Auditors, Regulators, Customers, and Micron's Cyber Defense and Cyber Engineering organizations. This role is responsible for reducing the operational burden of audits and assessments on technical teams while improving audit readiness, evidence quality, remediation tracking, and compliance consistency across the cybersecurity program. You will work closely with leaders and subject matter experts across Cyber Defense, Security Engineering, Security Architecture, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Security Tools, Cloud Security, and Infrastructure Security to coordinate audit activities, facilitate evidence collection, manage auditor interactions, and govern remediation efforts.

Position Overview:

The Cyber Security Audit Liaison will provide centralized ownership of audit execution, enabling engineering and operational teams to remain focused on security outcomes while maintaining a continuously audit-ready environment. This role serves as the primary cybersecurity audit liaison supporting Cyber Defense and Cyber Engineering organizations while coordinating audit readiness activities across multiple cybersecurity frameworks, customer assessments, and regulatory reviews. In addition, this role will drive the adoption of AI-enabled audit capabilities, including automated evidence collection, continuous control monitoring, control validation, remediation tracking, and executive reporting to support Micron's broader AI-enabled governance strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary cybersecurity audit liaison supporting Cyber Defense and Cyber Engineering organizations.

  • Coordinate audit readiness activities for cybersecurity programs supporting ISO 27001, SOX ITGC, NIST CSF, TISAX, NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), ISO 21434, customer audits, and regulatory reviews.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and SMEs across Security Operations, Threat Detection, Incident Response, Security Architecture, Cloud Security, IAM, Vulnerability Management, and Infrastructure Security teams.

  • Coordinate audit activities, facilitate evidence collection, manage auditor interactions, and govern remediation efforts.

  • Drive the adoption of AI-enabled audit capabilities, including automated evidence collection, continuous control monitoring, control validation, remediation tracking, and executive reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, IT Audit, Information Security, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, or related fields.

  • Deep understanding of Cyber Defense operations, Security Engineering functions, technical controls, and enterprise cybersecurity governance.

  • Working knowledge of Security Operations Centers (SOC), Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, Identity & Access Management, Security Architecture, Cloud Security, and Infrastructure Security.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity control frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, TISAX, SOX ITGC, NIS2, CRA, ISO 21434, and related standards.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating evidence collection and audit activities involving highly technical engineering and security teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating internal audits, external audits, customer assessments, certification audits, or regulatory reviews.

  • Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity organizations responsible for Security Operations, Security Engineering, Security Architecture, or Cyber Defense functions.

  • Experience supporting highly regulated environments with complex technical control requirements and proven experience managing remediation tracking, audit reporting, evidence collection, and compliance governance activities.

  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, continuous compliance capabilities, or advanced analytics; preferred experience with ServiceNow, Workiva, AuditBoard (Optro), OneTrust, SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, and cybersecurity governance platforms.

  • Experience working within large global manufacturing, semiconductor, technology, or critical infrastructure organizations preferred; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGRC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent preferred.
