Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced senior control engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of automation and control systems. Development and implementation of machine control packages, specific to the customers, and projects requirements. Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the innovation and continuous improvement of engineering processes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Competence:
Senior Controls Engineer demonstrates strong organizational skills, a results-driven approach, responsiveness, and adept coordination abilities. They should possess proficiency in utilizing both basic and advanced technology tools and software. Additionally, they should exhibit competence derived from suitable education, training, or experience for achieving comprehensive performance objectives.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical design, including the ability to read, interpret and
  • troubleshoot schematics and electrical designs (NFPA and ISO)
  • Proficient and fluent in PC-based Microsoft business software.
  • Proficient in collaborating with clients while adhering to project limitations and
  • meeting deadlines.
  • Capable of performing effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Good written and oral communication skills with team members and with customers.
  • Skilled in collaborating within team settings and autonomously addressing complex
  • technical issues.
  • Ability to travel (National and International) ~20%.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering/electro-mechanics or similar.
  • Ten or more (10+) years of experience with common PLC & SPLC platforms working
  • with production equipment in the automation industry
  • Experience with Beckhoff and C# Required
  • Experience with HMIs - Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff preferred
  • Experience with programming and teaching industrial robots is preferred
  • Experience with machine vision applications - Cognex, Keyence, etc., preferred
  • Experience with safety PLCs, safety devices and fail-safe electrical designs
