ABOUT US
SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company, with a diversified portfolio of 5-star rated lifestyle solutions that positively impact people's lives in homes around the world. Powered by two trusted global brands, Shark and Ninja, the company has a proven track record of bringing disruptive innovation to market. As our brands scale globally, social is not a support channel. It is where discovery, conversation and demand are created. Creators are central to that engine: they build trust, make products relevant, create the content that travels, and increasingly influence the path to purchase. We are looking for the leader who can build that capability at enterprise scale.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
SharkNinja operates creator programs across brands, categories and global markets. The opportunity now is to bring that work together as a connected enterprise capability with a clear strategy, strong creator relationships, scalable programs, best-in-class partners and rigorous measurement.
The Senior Director, Social Partnerships will own SharkNinja's enterprise influencer strategy and the operating model behind it. You will set the global approach, build priority creator and talent relationships, lead owned creator programs, and oversee execution across key enterprise initiatives while enabling category and regional teams to deliver consistently at scale.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for strategy, execution, team leadership, external partners, technology, governance and measurement. You will partner closely with category and regional Social leads, Social Creative, Media, Integrated Marketing, DTC, Sales, Analytics, Procurement and Legal. This role reports to the SVP, Global Social.
*This role can sit in NYC or our Needham, MA HQ
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Set the Enterprise Influencer Strategy
• Define the enterprise influencer strategy, connecting creator partnerships to brand building, cultural relevance, content and demand generation.
• Establish a clear portfolio approach across creator types, partnership models and business objectives.
• Translate enterprise, brand, category and market priorities into annual and always-on creator plans with clear priorities and measures of success.
• Set global standards for creator selection, partnerships, content quality, brand safety, compliance and performance.
• Provide strategic guidance on investment and resource allocation to maximize enterprise impact.
• Design the global-to-local model so enterprise strategy creates consistency and leverage while regional teams retain the cultural judgment to execute locally.
Build Long-Term Creator Equity
• Own the strategy and relationship model for SharkNinja's highest-value creators and talent, moving the business from transactional posts to sustained partnerships with mutual value.
• Build thoughtful, multi-dimensional partnership plans for priority creators across Shark, Ninja and key categories.
• Create a consistent approach to talent negotiations and agreements in partnership with Legal and Procurement.
• Ensure creators are treated as creative and business partners, with strong briefs, clear communication, timely decisions and an experience that makes SharkNinja a brand they want to build with.
• Maintain senior relationships across talent management, creator agencies, platforms and the broader creator ecosystem to expand access and keep SharkNinja ahead of market shifts.
Build Proprietary Creator Programs
• Design, build and scale owned creator, ambassador and advocacy programs that deepen relationships and expand the supply of high-quality content.
• Define a clear creator value proposition, operating approach and measures of success for each program.
• Create the experiences, communications and community practices that sustain creator engagement over time.
• Connect owned creator programs to priority business and brand moments across the organization.
• Build repeatable playbooks that can scale across categories and markets while allowing for local relevance.
Lead Enterprise Execution and Governance
• Lead strategy and end-to-end execution for priority enterprise influencer programs, from audience and creator strategy through sourcing, contracting, briefing, content, activation, amplification and postmortem.
• Establish the operating model, decision rights, workflows and service standards across Global Social, categories, regions, agencies and cross-functional partners.
• Lead the enterprise Influencer Center of Excellence, building the playbooks, capability, training and advisory support that raise the standard of work across every brand and market.
• Establish effective governance for creator vetting, brand safety, legal compliance, content approvals and risk management.
• Build planning and business-review cadences that connect activity, investment and results across the enterprise.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting a clear bar for strategic judgment, creator relationships, operational excellence and measurable impact.
Own the Agency, Vendor and Technology Ecosystem
• Define the right balance of internal capabilities and specialist agency, platform and vendor support.
• Lead the global roster and performance management of external partners, raising quality, speed, efficiency and accountability.
• Own the creator technology roadmap and ensure the organization has effective tools and data to manage programs at scale.
• Partner with Data, Technology, Privacy, Legal and Procurement to ensure solutions are integrated, compliant, adopted and fit for purpose.
• Manage enterprise budgets, contracts and commercial relationships with strong financial discipline.
Build the Measurement and Learning System
• Define a global measurement framework that connects creator investment to brand, content, audience and business outcomes.
• Create consistent benchmarks and reporting standards across brands, markets, platforms and partners.
• Partner with Analytics, Media, DTC and Sales to advance attribution, testing and performance understanding.
• Build a rigorous test-and-learn agenda that improves creator strategy and execution over time.
• Turn reporting into action: identify the creators, content patterns and program models that work, then move investment and execution accordingly.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• SharkNinja has one enterprise influencer strategy and operating model, with clear roles for Global, category, regional and external teams.
• SharkNinja has a strong portfolio of creator relationships and owned programs that build value over time.
• Teams have the tools, data and visibility needed to manage creator activity and performance effectively.
• Agency and vendor partners are accountable to clear scopes, standards, economics and outcomes, with less duplication across the enterprise.
• Measurement consistently identifies what drives brand and business value, and those learnings change where SharkNinja invests next.
• Creators experience SharkNinja as a preferred partner: ambitious, clear, fast, fair and worth building with.
WHO YOU ARE
• 12+ years in influencer or creator marketing, social partnerships, talent strategy, creator operations or a closely related field, including leadership of scaled programs for a global consumer brand or agency.
• Proven experience setting enterprise creator strategy and leading end-to-end execution across paid, earned, seeding, ambassador and commerce models.
• Deep creator judgment: you understand talent, audience fit, relationship dynamics, platform behavior, content quality, creator economics and what makes a partnership last.
• Experience building long-term talent partnerships and owned creator communities, not only campaign-based influencer activations.
• Strong command of influencer operations, talent partnerships, governance and scaled program execution.
• Demonstrated ownership of agencies, vendors, significant budgets and influencer technology platforms, with the ability to simplify a fragmented ecosystem.
• Analytically rigorous, with experience establishing measurement frameworks and optimization routines that connect creator work to business outcomes.
• A strong people leader who can build teams and capabilities, coach expert talent and lead through influence across a global matrix.
• Commercially sharp and operationally credible. You can set the vision, structure the system and stay close enough to execution to know where it will break.
• An excellent communicator and senior relationship builder who can move from an executive narrative to a precise operating decision and make complexity feel simple.
WHY JOIN SHARKNINJA
• Build the enterprise creator capability for two global brands with real cultural presence across Home, Kitchen and Beauty.
• Shape a portfolio that spans headline talent, long-term partners, experts, advocates, affiliates and the next generation of creators.
• Turn SharkNinja's scale, product innovation and social ambition into a creator ecosystem that competitors cannot easily replicate.
• Join a global Social team that values ambition, directness, speed and measurable impact.
