Job description

Title: Senior CAD Engineer (Analog-focused)
Location: Sunnyvale California (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Job Type: 12 months (Contract with possibility of extension)

Experience Level: 15 20 years preferred

Team Focus:

  • High-speed IC and CMOS design for photonic communications.
  • Rapidly growing, small engineering team.

Current Requirement:

  • Need a Senior CAD Engineer / Contractor (Analog-focused)
  • Core Tools:Cadence, Siemens Calibre, Linux scripting
  • Key Focus:Full-custom analog CAD work, not layout/digital
  • Education:Bachelor s in electrical or Electronics Engineering

Top 3 Non-Negotiable Skills:

  1. Strong Linux background (scripting, environment setup).
  2. Strong Cadence experience (installation, scripting, use).
  3. PDK installation and analog/non-digital design understanding.
  4. Mixed Signal experience is required.

Other Required Skills:

  • Prefer senior-level generalists with both CAD and light IT experience.
  • Not a layout or purely digital role.
  • Experience is a CAD support engineer is also MUST.
