Job description

Our client, a renown company, is searching for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join their team in Houston, Texas.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Establish, evaluate, and maintain economic models for relevant asset.
  • Acquire the knowledge and resources needed to build a strong fact base on which to determine feasibility of new opportunities.
  • Explore and support business initiatives and strategies to maximize value of existing assets.
  • Deliver data-driven analysis through development of financial/economic models to derive insights to support development of corporate and commercial business strategies.
  • Work with external and internal stakeholders to drive/support new business initiatives.
  • Interface cross-functionally with Finance, BD, Tender, Legal, Project and Operations Department to support Senior Management on development and execution of corporate and strategic projects, reports, presentations, meetings etc.
  • Support in capital funding matters for new and existing assets and projects.
  • Actively engage in discussions and negotiations with external stakeholders in respect of new and existing opportunities.
  • Conduct Ad-hoc analysis when required.

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within Oil & Gas and/or Power industry. Interpersonal Skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player as well as able to work independently.
  • Analytical, well organized, and good attention to detail. Knowledge
  • Good understanding and knowledge of financial investment and risk management models.
  • Proficient in Excel.
