Overview:
BCYF Shelburne Community Center continues to provide a safe, welcoming, fun, and cohesive environment for all our youth, teens, families, seniors, and the community as a whole. We offer year-round programs, such as fitness and wellness, teen educational workshops, recreational and sports programs, senior citizen programs, community events, and youth afterschool and summer programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Jr. Counselors:
Assist the camp director and senior counselors with daily activities for campers.
Help set up and break down areas.
Monitor the safety of campers during all activities.
Participate in activities with campers.
The Ideal Candidate for this Job:
The Junior Counselor must: - Enjoys working with children. - Have some experience working with children ages 7 to 12. - Possesses good time management skills, and works well with others.
