Job description

Apelah, Inc., a Mississippi-based health, human, and social services nonprofit, is seeking the perfect candidate to join its Charitable Bingo team as a Lead Session Supervisor in Nesbit, MS. This part-time position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bingo hall. Job duties include, but are not limited to, managing and directing the session activities of the bingo hall, supervising session staff, ensuring all gaming, state, and federal regulations and laws are met, inventory and funds, and maintaining customer satisfaction. This role is compensated on a per session basis. A supervisory session typically lasts 5 hours.

Apelah's Charitable Bingo team supports our fundraising efforts to provide homes of refuge and healing to foster children in Mississippi. Applicants must submit to and pass both a company and Mississippi Gaming Commission background check.

  • Must have a satisfactory background check as determined by the agency and Mississippi Gaming Commission.

  • Experience in customer service, sales, cash handling, and paying out prize winnings is required.

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
