Job description

The Solana East Cobb offers award winning, assisted living, and dementia care residences. At The Arbor Company the residents are at the center of everything we do.

The Memory Care Director is a seasoned professional with experience and a passion for caring for residents with dementia. As a leader of the Memory Care Neighborhood, they will oversee the daily operations of the neighborhood, plan and implement successful programming, as well as make sure that the look, feel and the daily flow of the Neighborhood meets Arbor standards for Memory Care. The ideal candidate will use leadership, critical thinking, and analytical skills to ensure:

  • Delivery of competent and compassionate care to all residents alongside the clinical leader of the neighborhood

  • Adequate dementia training for all staff

  • Excellent employee retention

  • Alignment with Arbor standards for Programming, Dining, and the Environment

  • Strong communication skills along with the ability to provide training and coaching on the latest approaches in care for the residents is required. An unwavering focus on customer service and resident and family relations is also critical in this role.

Preferred Background:

  • CDP

  • Experience with programming in a Memory Care setting

  • Experience caring for residents with dementia, 1 year minimum

  • Management experience preferred
