Job description

Job Summary
The Sr. Manager of Lifecycle and Renewal Sales Insights will serve as the strategic leader and hands-on architect for our organization's data intelligence ecosystem. This role owns the end-to-end data strategy, roadmap development, governance, and analytics delivery for both LCM and Renewal Sales functions.
Operating as a "player-coach," you will manage an existing team while actively designing data architecture requirements and executing high-impact ad-hoc analyses. You will act as the critical data conduit between the LCM and Renewal Sales organization and key cross-functional enterprise partners to drive automated, self-service insights and support major systems rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Data Ownership & Governance
Data Strategy & Roadmap: Define, champion, and execute the holistic data intelligence strategy and long-term roadmap for both Renewal Sales and LCM.
Data Governance: Establish and enforce rigorous data governance standards, definitions, and compliance protocols across all renewal sales and lifecycle management data assets.
Architecture Requirements: Architect scalable data structures and system requirements that transform raw lifecycle metrics into actionable business intelligence.
Team Leadership & "Player-Coach" Execution
People Management: Lead, mentor, and scale the data analytics team, providing direct management and career development for reporting analysts
Hands-on Analytics: Act as an individual contributor to deliver complex, high-priority ad-hoc analyses while long-term self-service reporting frameworks are being established.
Self-Service Enablement: Drive the migration from manual data delivery to robust, automated self-service dashboards for business stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration
Enterprise Liaison: Serve as the primary, authoritative conduit representing data needs across Enterprise Revenue Data Management (ERDM), Revenue Operations (RevOps), Finance, Order Management (OM), CX, IT, and executive stakeholders.
Project Aura System Evolution: Own the data architecture and technical requirements for the Project Aura, ensuring data integrity and stability to enable broader automation and innovation remits
Performance Objectives: The First 90 Days
Days 1-30 (Discovery & Assessment): Audit the current LCM/Renewal Sales data landscape, assess existing pipeline infrastructure, shadow the current analytics team, and deeply understand cross-functional stakeholder requirements.
Days 31-60 (Strategy & Planning): Design a comprehensive data delivery plan for both the Renewal Sales and LCM functions, mapping out critical data dependencies
Days 61-90 (Execution & Initial Delivery): Begin execution of the data delivery plan, establish foundational self-service reporting mechanics, and stabilize data workflows across cross-functional channels.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data architecture, or business intelligence, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated leadership or people-management role.
Domain Expertise: Proven track record supporting Inside Sales, Renewal Sales, Customer Experience (CX), or recurring revenue operations within a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in designing data architectures, data modeling, SQL, and enterprise BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI), alongside familiarity with quoting tools (CPQ) as well as CRM/customer success platforms (Salesforce, Certinia)
Cross-Functional Impact: Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data infrastructure needs to Finance, IT, RevOps, and executive leadership.
Execution Mindset: Thrives in a hybrid "player-coach" capacity, balancing high-level strategic alignment with the agility to execute technical tasks independently.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $190000-$210,000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. We will provide detailed information about the specific benefits for your region during the recruitment process.
