Your New Role...
CNN's Global Perspectives team is seeking a Senior Editorial Event Producer to support the development of high-impact, journalism-led live events. This role will focus on speaker booking, editorial planning, and execution, helping to bring together influential global voices across geopolitics, business, technology, and culture.
Your Role Accountabilities...
  • Lead speaker sourcing, outreach, and booking for CNN Global Perspectives events, securing influential voices across business, geopolitics, technology, and culture.
  • Develop and shape event agendas by translating news developments, audience interests, and speaker opportunities into compelling live discussions.
  • Manage the end-to-end speaker experience, from identification and outreach through briefing, preparation, and event execution.
  • Research global trends and emerging issues to inform programming decisions and ensure content remains timely, relevant, and distinctive.
  • Create speaker and moderator briefing materials that support engaging, high-quality conversations aligned with CNN's editorial standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally with production, programming, and event teams to deliver seamless, broadcast-quality experiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, industry experts, and thought leaders to strengthen CNN's speaker network and event reputation.

Qualifications & Experience...
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent
  • 8+ years of television, live events, or editorial production experience
  • Strong editorial judgment, booking, logistics, writing, research, and communication skills, with experience operating in fast-paced or breaking news environments
  • Demonstrated experience and broad knowledge of television production
  • Knowledge of international news with a global perspective
  • Experience engaging directly with senior-level stakeholders, talent, or contributors
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively under tight deadlines within a team and across departments
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including evenings, overnights and weekends

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $125,510.00 - $233,090.00 salary per year.
