Job Summary:

In this role, you will prepare monthly invoice packages based on multi-currency and complex contractual language. You will collaborate with the Project Team to analyze contractual terms and accounting cost flows and assist in the review and approval of accounting entries, invoice packages, and account reconciliations. You will add value by ensuring accurate invoicing and contributing to client satisfaction.
This position is designated as part-time telework under Bechtel’s global policy and requires a minimum of three days per week in person at the assigned office or project. Weekly schedules will be determined in coordination with the supervisor and functional leadership.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Prepares monthly invoice package based on multi-currency and complex contractual language.
  • Coordinates efforts for support documentation.
  • Performs complex accounting entries.
  • Reconciles monthly unbilled and revenue accounts.
  • Prepares monthly invoice logs to support total revenue.
  • Collaborates with assigned Project Team to analyze contractual terms and accounting cost flows.
  • Adheres to defined work processes to support revenue recognition accounting narratives.
  • Assists in internal and external audits by providing support associated with invoicing and account reconciliations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • University Hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Work experience in Finance or Controller related activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Technical skills necessary to gain proficiency with major computer systems and software.
  • Good understanding of generally accepted accounting practices and strong analytical skills.
  • Above average communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Capable of handling a complex and high volume workload.
  • Good initiative and ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a team environment.
  • Good business judgment in execution of assigned work and in understanding when issues needs to be escalated for resolution.
