The Role
The Senior Risk Analyst provides essential analytical and operational support to the Risk Management department, assisting in the strategic development and continuous improvement of risk management across the Company. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of CAA's insurance programs and supporting its business continuity efforts. The Senior Risk Analyst reports to the Director of Global Risk Management.
Responsibilities
  • Insurance & Risk Management Coordination: Provide documentation and support for global operations including corporate events, brand activations, real estate development, M&A transactions, and more. Maintain a system for the maintenance and tracking of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and policy documents.
  • Financial Administration: Process premium invoices and track payments and variances against annual insurance budget. Maintain key man policy schedule and calendar renewal invoices.
  • Claims Support: Track complex claims and provide coordination amongst Risk Management, CAA Legal, broker teams, insurers, and coverage counsel. Track and support claim reimbursements, assist in coverage disputes.
  • Data Gathering: Compile and prepare underwriting data for brokers and insurers in connection with renewal and marketing of all insurance policies. Maintain accurate property and exposure schedules.
  • Risk Assessment & Loss Control: Maintain risk management framework and standards in vetting of third parties, insurers, event logistics, property engineering, and more.
  • Business Continuity Support: Assist with the Business Continuity Management Program, including organizing Core Working Group meetings and coordinating Tabletop Exercises.
  • Contract Review Support: Track contracts under review and assist with confirming insurance provisions.
  • General Support: Provide general administrative support to the Risk Management department and Company at large.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 5-6 + years of experience in Corporate Risk Management, insurance, or on a brokerage team.
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Desire for continuous professional development through experience and continuing education.
  • Desire to build relationships with others within the organization to facilitate increased communication and opportunity for adding value.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Location
This hybrid role is based in our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $128,000 - $150,000 in Los Angeles. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
