Job description

Role: ASME Authorized Inspector - Supervisor

Location: Mainland Europe

Supervise and manage day-to-day authorized inspector and client activities. This individual will be required to provide ASME/NB technical and administrative support to staff and clients, support and implement sales and marketing activities, support corporate technical and administrative initiatives, develop staff, and support TRS, Nuclear and Government business units.

  • Assures compliance with ASME Code and other mandatory standards in areas of training, inspection, documentation and auditing.
  • Supervises a group of Authorized Inspectors. The successful candidate will perform supervisor duties as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineering Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME Code) Section III and XI for both shop locations and operating plants.
  • You will provide technical and administrative support to assigned clients and reporting inspectors.
  • Required 5 years' experience as an AI.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Authorized Inspector
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to supervise assigned inspection staff and build strong relationships with staff and clients.
  • National Board AI Commission with R and B endorsements.

Desired

  • Engineering Degree
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience as an Authorized Inspector Supervisor
  • National Board AI Commission with NS and NSI endorsements
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes applications.
