Job description

Parma Tile is a second generation tile business that began in 1975. We are a multi-line showroom that represents carefully selected brands with attention to quality and sustainability. Since then, we have worked with clients all over the tristate area; from contractors, developers, home owners, movie set designers, etc. We are looking for a driven and experienced Architectural Representative who has successfully specified projects in NYC tri-state area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meet with Architect, Designers, and Developers to promote material
  • On-site visits with potential clients
  • Create new relations/accounts
  • Overall knowledge of materials carried by Parmatile
  • Effective client relationship management
  • Creatively advise clients with selection of material for designated rooms/projects

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with sales and specifying material in tile industry
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Architects, Designers, customers and fellow employees
  • Ability to travel to client job sites/offices
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Multilingual (not necessary, but a plus)
  • Applicant must live in the NYC area
