Architectural Sales Representative
Charlotte, NC

General Shale, Inc., a leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to support the Charlotte, NC market. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and dealers while promoting masonry solutions for commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong communication skills and experience in construction, building materials, architecture, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, and dealers

  • Promote brick, stone, block, and masonry product solutions for commercial and residential projects
  • Provide product recommendations, specifications, and technical support to customers
  • Deliver responsive, high-level customer service throughout the sales process
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of masonry products and applications
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support project timelines and customer needs

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of professional sales experience; building materials or masonry industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven professional
