Job Description We are seeking a Senior Antenna Engineer to join our team. You will guide products from concept to production, including simulations, prototyping, field and lab measurements, specifications and test plans, compliance report reviews, and resolution of antenna-related challenges. You will work cross-functionally with electrical engineering, software, product design, industrial design, program management, operations, and manufacturing partners to deliver wireless products to market. Responsibilities: Lead architecture and end-to-end design of high-performance antenna systems from concept through mass production. Define antenna and RF system strategy for next-generation wireless products aligned to roadmap and business goals. Drive EMI and RF desense mitigation through simulations and testing to meet regulatory and performance requirements. Partner with manufacturing to ensure robust and high-quality antenna implementation. Utilize tools such as XFDTD, HFSS, and CST for simulation; perform material characterization, prototype development, and anechoic chamber measurements (ETS). Generate data-driven reports and presentations to communicate findings and design decisions. Innovate antenna solutions optimized for small form-factor devices and wearables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external JDM/CM partners to launch wireless products. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of experience shipping high-volume consumer electronics with multiple wireless technologies. Deep expertise in antenna design and electromagnetics with delivery in consumer electronics and wearables. Proficiency in EM simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS and CST, and skill in Matlab or equivalent for data analysis. Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment, including 3D anechoic chambers, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers. Ability to balance cost, performance, and form factor trade-offs for compact wearable designs. Understanding of carrier certification and regulatory compliance requirements such as FCC and CE. Experience measuring sensitivity, EVM, S-parameters, emissions, stability, and output power. Experience working in fast-paced and collaborative teams with industrial design, software, and UX. Ability to travel to factories to support builds. Preferred Skills: Experience with Python and ADS for RF simulation and test automation. Experience with schematic capture and circuit board layout tools. Knowledge of PCB design and efficiency with Cadence tools such as CIS and Allegro. Ability to drive tasks independently and communicate issues and root-cause analysis clearly.
