About this position

Carv is on a mission to unlock the enjoyment of better skiing. We use AI, real-time feedback, and sensor-driven data to help skiers improve their technique like never before. Our team is building cutting-edge software that bridges the gap between technology and human performance.

We’re looking for a product‑minded, inquisitive and inventive Senior Android engineer to drive the development of our Android app, crafting an experience that feels seamless, powerful, and intuitive.

If you love building products that push the limits of what’s possible on mobile, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Android experience from architecture to implementation
  • Work closely with designers and product managers to create intuitive, high‑performance interfaces

  • Stay on top of industry trends and Android advancements and adopt the latest best practices
What We’re Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to design and build a best‑in‑class Android experience
  • Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience with Rust or other backend languages such as Go, Python, or C++ with an interest in learning Rust
  • Relentless bias for action
  • Track‑record of excelling in a small‑team environment, even better if at a start‑up
Why Join Carv?
  • Work on a game‑changing product that combines AI, biomechanics, and coaching
  • Autonomy and impact — you’ll be a key player in shaping the future of digital sports training
  • Opportunity to work from our Innsbruck office where you can ski with fully subsidised ski tickets
