And we believe in you.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As Senior Manager, Finance Data & Analytics, you will serve as the bridge between Finance stakeholders and enterprise analytics teams, helping shape data strategy, governance, reporting standards, and analytics roadmaps. You will lead and be accountable for the development of a new Finance Analytics capability, build trusted relationships across the organization, and create the data foundation that enables faster insights and better business decisions.

This is an ideal opportunity for an analytics leader who enjoys building capabilities from the ground up, creating order from complexity, and partnering with business leaders to unlock the value of enterprise data.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Build and lead Columbia's Finance Data & Analytics capability, establishing the roadmap, governance, operating model, and long-term vision for Finance analytics.
  • Lead change management, training, and stakeholder engagement efforts that increase analytics adoption, improve data literacy, and foster a data-driven culture across Finance.
  • Partner with leaders across FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and Audit to identify high-value analytics opportunities and prioritize initiatives that drive business impact.
  • Define and implement scalable reporting, dashboarding, and self-service analytics solutions that improve decision-making and reduce manual reporting efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Data & Analytics to align Finance data architecture, governance practices, KPI definitions, semantic models, and technology standards.
  • Lead the development of Finance data foundations, including data access, integration, cleansing, standardization, and semantic layer development.
  • Oversee delivery of dashboards, analytics products, models, and actionable business insights while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and governance standards are maintained.
  • Establish and manage analytics intake, prioritization, and backlog processes to ensure resources are aligned to the highest business value opportunities.
  • Build and develop a high-performing analytics team, including direct and indirect partnerships with business analysts, data analysts, and data engineering resources.
  • Measure and communicate the business impact, adoption, and value realization of Finance analytics initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Finance leadership, helping the organization mature its analytics capabilities and prepare for future AI-enabled solutions.

YOU ARE

  • An effective communicator who can influence executive leaders, translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes, and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • A builder who thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys creating new capabilities, processes, and operating models from the ground up.
  • A trusted business partner who can communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business leaders.
  • Naturally curious and energized by solving complex business problems through data and analytics.
  • Skilled at influencing without authority and building alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution when needed.
  • A leader who develops teams, drives accountability, and creates a culture of continuous improvement.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data management, data strategy, or related disciplines, including experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience building, scaling, or maturing analytics capabilities, centers of excellence, reporting functions, data governance programs, or enterprise data solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence and analytics platforms, with Power BI experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud data environments, data lakes, semantic models, data architecture concepts, and enterprise reporting ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, or related business processes, with experience delivering analytics solutions that support financial decision-making.
