Madison, NJ

70-85K + bonus

Fortune 500 manufacturing client seeking a Senior Accountant.

We're looking for someone who will work closely with theย Assistant Controllerย and the Accounting and Finance teams and can play a key role in the general management of the Company's balance sheet, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and controls functions. He or she will serve as a strategic partner to the entire management team to grow both revenue and margin, with an expanded emphasis on performance metrics review throughout the organization.

- Participate in the financial closing process.
- Manage general ledger sub-ledger accounts and the related account reconciliations.
- Document and enforce all internal control policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly projections and annual budgets of select P&L, balance sheet and cash flow items.
As a manufacturing leader, we're looking for a high-energy, intelligent professional who thrives in a challenging, entrepreneurial, fast-paced, dynamic environment.     Qualifications

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

    • 4+ years with responsibility for transaction ย ย ย ย  processing, systems implementation, reporting and staff management in a ย ย ย ย  large complex company;
    • Solid US GAAP and SEC accounting knowledge;
    • Very strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills needed;
    • Solid knowledge of SAP a plus
    • Some public company experience (preferably Big4) ย ย ย ย  strongly preferred.
    • CPA STRONGLY PREFERRED
