Job description

LHH is partnering with a large company to search for a temporary to hire Senior Accountant. This person will be working on a team but be focused on managing fixed asset accounting and supporting general ledger functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can effectively partner across different teams and departments and someone who has at least five years of accounting experience. This role is fully in office in Bellevue, WA. Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Review capital expenditures and ensure proper asset classification and accounting treatment.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and reconcile subledgers to the general ledger.
  • Coordinate physical asset inventories and asset tracking processes.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, depreciation schedules, and account reconciliations.
  • Perform analysis of fixed asset activity, aging assets, and potential impairments.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audit requests.
  • Maintain schedules for property tax, insurance reporting, and other compliance requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally to verify asset information and improve accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and fixed asset accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.).
  • Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
