Have you already conquered years of the grind and you are seeking part-time work? Do you have a world of tax knowledge and incredible attention to detail? Are you a talented problem-solver? Do you love music? Do you still want to be in the mix, but without the pressure? If you answered "yes" to the above questions, then we have an interesting and exciting work opportunity for you.

Small NYC business management firm seeks an experienced senior accountant for long-term position. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, forward-facing, and needs little handholding. Must have experience compiling and preparing financial data, as well as entering on tax forms for both personal and corporate returns.

This is a role based on meticulous financial recordkeeping for tax preparation...includes maintaining and updating financial records, precise data entry, bank account reconciliation, P&L reporting, budgeting, and comparing financial records. The candidate must be able to prepare tax returns for corporations and partnerships, and handle and manage Schedule C and K-1s. Enrolled Agent preferred.

We handle the entertainment industry and entrepreneurs. The clients are exciting and the work is diverse!

Skills required: Microsoft Office, Excel (intermediate), working knowledge of CCH Axcess tax software. QuickBooks Desktop & Online, XERO accounting software a plus. Must be a self-directed, analytical thinker. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outgoing demeanor a must.
