Job description

Senior Accountant – Construction Industry

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.  Reporting to the Controller, this role will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, job cost accounting, WIP schedules, account reconciliations, and supporting accounting operations across multiple entities and construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong construction accounting experience, knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting, and the ability to partner closely with project managers and operations teams to support project financial performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, retainage, and construction billing
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting environments
  • Experience with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
