Senior Account Executive, Benefits - Remote - USA Only

PeopleStrategy is a leader in human capital management technology, providing software and services that address the full spectrum of human resources needs, including recruiting, hiring, payroll, benefits, time and attendance, performance management, and reporting. This opportunity is with the growing PeopleStrategy Benefits Brokerage team, which is seeking an experienced benefits broker with an established book of business.

The Senior Account Executive, Benefits is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, quoting, and selling group benefits/group health insurance at PeopleStrategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and pipeline opportunities through outbound prospecting, including prequalification of leads for insurability and risk level
  • Leverage existing network to identify and convert prospective clients with benefit brokerage needs
  • Create benefits proposals and makes sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business
  • Prospect for new opportunities and progress such opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors
  • Collaborate with benefits administration staff to ensure timely communications and responsiveness to client needs
  • Stay on top of trends, strategies, and initiatives in the industry

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Active benefits broker license for health/life policies
  • Proficiency across major employee benefit lines, including health, life, retirement, and related products
  • Proven track record of success in benefits brokerage and sales, including both generating and retaining business
