Job Summary:
Track Equipment / Process Engineer - Advanced Technology (Clean Track Systems) - SCREEN is seeking a highly motivated Track Equipment / Process Engineer to support the qualification, optimization, and long-term performance of clean track systems within a leading-edge, high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast paced setting and enjoys solving complex technical challenges that directly impact production quality and efficiency. Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000. Please Note: SCREEN is not able to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Role Overview:
As a Track Equipment / Process Engineer, you will work closely with the customer's equipment engineering team, SCREEN's hardware service organization, and Japan based technical experts to maintain best known methods and drive continuous improvement. You will play a key role in sustaining critical coater/developer equipment, supporting new technology introductions, and ensuring stable, high quality manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Qualify, sustain, and optimize clean track (coater) equipment in a high volume fab environment.
โ€ข Serve as a technical liaison between customers, internal service teams, and global SCREEN resources.โ€ข Support process and equipment troubleshooting, including tool matching, root cause analysis, and process transfers from other manufacturing sites.
โ€ข Lead installation and qualification of new photoresist materials on existing tools.
โ€ข Prepare clear, accurate technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and customer review.
โ€ข Contribute to process specification responses, resist evaluations, and quality driven improvement initiatives.
โ€ข Work effectively in cleanroom environments and collaborate within a multicultural, cross functional team.
Qualifications & Attributes:
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to equipment and process engineering.
โ€ข Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
โ€ข Comfortable working in cleanroom conditions and adapting to diverse cultural environments.
Job Requirements:
โ€ข Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience with coat and develop track tools.
โ€ข Experience working in fab operations, particularly within Tier 1 wafer fabrication environments, is highly desirable.
โ€ข Background in semiconductor wafer fabrication site within a device manufacturer and/or semiconductor equipment supplier is preferred.
โ€ข Experience identifying and implementing hardware continuous improvement projects (CIP) to enhance process performance.
โ€ข Working knowledge of experimental design, statistical analysis tools, and statistical process control methodologies.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers.
โ€ข Proven capability in performing root cause analysis and preparing clear, structured reports using industry standard methodologies.
โ€ข Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, reaching, handling, hearing, sitting, talking, and seeing.
โ€ข Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese is advantageous and supports effective communication in a global, multicultural environment.
Education & Experience:
B.S./M.S. Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or a related engineering discipline.
